# Product Excerpt

Product excerpt element allows you to place the product content text you add in the backend to place anywhere on the product page you want.

Product excerpt is the text you usually see just below the price on your single product theme default template. It helps you to add some additional information about the product or add highlight points about the product like the product features etc.
